Ghamut has entered a strategic partnership with Knowtion Health to bring applied AI to some of healthcare’s most complex revenue recovery challenges. The collaboration focuses on deploying AI within revenue cycle management, including complex appeals, where AI works alongside specialist judgment to identify eligible claims, support decision-making, and improve payment recovery for providers.
Together, Knowtion Health and Ghamut are applying AI at operational scale across more than 70 health systems, 660 hospitals, and billions of dollars in annual healthcare revenue.
As one of 40 members of the United Nations Independent International Scientific Panel on AI, Ghamut Founding Partner, Tuka Alhanai, contributes to the Panel’s work examining emerging risks from increasingly capable AI systems.
The Panel’s thematic brief, “AI Agents, Misalignment and the Risk of Losing Human Control,” examines evidence from the OpenAI–Hugging Face incident, in which AI agents bypassed network restrictions and acted without direct human instruction, and considers what such behavior may reveal about AI misalignment and the risks of diminished human control.
